BSSU recently worked with Elaine Russ of New Initiatives to enhance their pages on the Wales Deanery website.
The New Initiatives unit, led by Associate Dean Dr Mark Stacey, aims to develop and deliver a number of medical education initiatives to help trainee doctors in Wales advance their professional skills and improve patient safety. Their Medical Trauma and Resilience training programme (MedTRIM) in collaboration with DNA Definitive is hugely popular and has received much positive feedback. The New Initiatives team also recently produced a downloadable stress management and resilience toolkit called 'Baker's Dozen of Mental Toughness'.
The web page enhancements have improved content and navigation of the site, ensuring online resources are easily accessible, as well as news and details of forthcoming events. The 'About Us' page also provides information about the New Initiatives team members and their work.
Elaine Russ, Administration Manager, said "I am very impressed with the enhanced New Initiatives pages. Jo Hendry, Chris Bourne and the web team were happy to discuss proposed changes, make suggestions and help us showcase some of our new resources. We hope that the new pages will enhance the user experience”.
Jo Hendry added that Elaine's contribution to this project was much appreciated by BSSU, and highlights the benefits of collaborative working across the Deanery.
